mymymy mymymy mymy

i bought Bon Iver and Nick Drake vinyl
the other day and i can't get enough.
not that they help my depression problems
but they do help with my drinking wine
alone and getting ultra introverted.

saturday is a bring your own lobster
party to celebrate brooke's day of birth.
i'm looking forward to it.

sunday i leave on a roadtrip to vancouver
with lil and vegas to help them move.
i'm anxious. but i should get some
great photos (i hope).

ps: my mother's gone crazy
and so have i.

x gon' give it to ya

so in all my reet glory, here is
an update:

i hired some wicked professional treasure hunters
named shawn and randy.
they didn't find my ring but they spent an honest
4 hours looking for it and charged me nothing!
they did it out of the kindness of their souls
and for the joy of the hunt so they say.

this saturday, the two (three?) week anniversary
of my losing it, i was at a soiree.
well really just a jello shooter party
at which i knew two people
and played complicated drinking games (and won).

whilst this was going on, that r-tard bf
of mine was mixing himself a drink at home.
he had a bit of le (la?) rhume and
was opting to Halo party by himself.
in his actions he managed to knock an entire
box of dog treats onto the floor. in picking them
up he happened to look behind our broken dishwasher
that is now just used as counterspace, and lo
and behold! my RING. my FAMILY ring.
the only thing important to me in this world
and what i had been despairing over for
a good two (three?) weeks.

hoorah! i was about to have the seats
in my car professionally removed to look
for it. turns out the bleach from my
highlights have seeped into my brain
and rendered me retarded.

i'm happy again :)

ps: i've got halloween shots
a new shoot for Vandenberg's Jewellers
to show you and this week is a new tc
one. busy busy busy.

where the wild things are

i haven't posted these yet.
we did a photoshoot with
a group called From The People.
the lovely Brittany Hildebrandt
took photos and freya and ash
were also involved.

i was asked to be max in an editorial-esque
shoot inspired by where the wild things are.
these came out before the movie, i'm just
a lazy poster:

beirut

i've been listening to Beirut on vinyl for
the past couple of days.

we set up the turn tables in the dining room
records and all on these ikea babies:

two of them with turntables and mixer on
top and records underneath.

glenn loves how i say "we" when
i really mean him.

he set it up. i listened to records
and drank red wine.

this song. changes me:
